Backing the BNBF
The Gym within the Ratho
Adventure centre is possibly the best gym in the Edinburgh
area at the moment. It is fully equipped with some of the best cybex equipment
a great power cage and an incredible amount of discs and bars. Everything
you need as a top competitive bodybuilder.
They also have a weightlifting room with Eleiko bars and discs and a lifting
platform where you can do your basic lifts without any distractions.
The staff are all excellent with 2 being competitive power lifters; they
are all very helpful and willing to spot and assist you into start position
with weights.
Ratho adventure Centre in Edinburgh has shown their support
for the BNBF by allowing us to run all our BNBF Scottish clubs in this excellent
facility. It has also been agreed that any BNBF/WNBF Pro bodybuilders can
train there free of charge. They are also offering a generous discounted
rate to all BNBF members. The normal membership price is £50
per month but the BNBF rate for your first 6 months is £25
per month with no joining fee. This
will go up after 6months to £35 or £30 per month if you pay
in advance. You only need to join for 6 months initially and we will hopefully
review this again in 6 months if enough BNBF members take up the offer.

The next Scottish BNBF club will be held in the Ratho
adventure centre on Sun Feb 26th at 2pm. We will look at training
and offer any advice on diet and posing as it will only be 8 weeks until competition
time for those taking part in the Scottish Championships on the 29th May.
We are also looking to do a training camp in the Spring. Ratho Adventure centre has accommodation for 80 people and we are looking to bring together our 2 world champs and other respected people in the bodybuilding field to do a weekend of seminars and practical sessions looking at diet, training and posing. More details of that in the near future.
Ratho Adventure centre is a facility with a difference, it’s a spectacular building which has Britain’s largest indoor climbing arena. They also have an incredible arial assault course 100ft in the air a BNBF challenge on that is surely inevitable. There is restaurant and café, and the spa area will be open within the next few months.
