BNBF Southern 2011 Report
BNBF Southern Championships 2011
Sponsored by EQ Nutrition
The Alexandra Theatre in Bognor Regis would play host to this year’s Southern Championships and with that signify the beginning of another BNBF season. As ever, the tireless BNBF crew travelled the length and breadth of the country and arrived in Bognor bright and early to begin set up of the venue. On this day the weather was less than compliant but the anticipation of another BNBF season ahead was more than enough to brighten any dampened spirits.
Judges for the day were BNBF Pro’s David Kaye and Mark Claxton, joined by British Middleweight Champion Lawrence King and Ultra Master’s Champion , Eric Dowey. Assuming the mantle of Head Judge for the day was BNBF Chairman, Vicky McCann.
So without further delay, let the 2011 BNBF season commence!
Teens

In 1st place was Callum Vine. An impressive teen competitor with an excellent X shape. Huge arms and legs with great condition – a top contender for the British Finals. To be picky, Callum’s tan could have been a little darker.
In 2nd was Callum Young. Nice balance from Callum coupled with great presentation. On this occasion, just a little out massed by the winner.
Taking 3rd was Mark Young. Nice condition from Mark today with probably the widest lat spread in the class. Mark just needs a little more time to thicken his physique.
Also competing – Zachary Morris. A muscular physique but just not in the required condition to be competitive today.

In 3rd was Rory Dobbs. Great chest and arms from Rory but just not quite hard enough to challenge the top 2.
Also competing – Matt Dopson. A nicely balanced physique but just not as conditioned as the top 3.
