AMATUER MEN

Rick Waters Masters 4th
Rick was in great condition with his superior symmetry and balance we where confident he would do well. The judges seemed to take their time in noticing Rick but when he got moved centre stage Rick battled his way to a very unlucky forth place. I felt Rick had just squeezed into 3rd place but knowing Rick he will be back next year bigger and better.

 

Jason Barnett Bantamweight 4th

Jason again was in great nick but he was in a very tough class. One thing you can always say about Jason is he fights hard for everything he gets on stage which is something you appreciate when taking a team to the states. Jason managed 4th place in a very oddly judged class where I thought the eventual second place competitor was a sure winner and Jason in my opinion should have been 3rd. You never know Jason could make it back to the worlds for the third year in a row and with his positive attitude who would argue against it.

 

Mike Bell Lightheavyweight 2nd

Mike was in similar shape to the Britain but was right up for his Worlds debut. From the minute Mike appeared on stage he went for it pushing himself forward at every opportunity. Mike never let up and earned himself a very creditable Worlds 2nd place.

 

AMATUER WOMAN

Carol Streeter Lightweight 1st

Carol turned up for the worlds in great shape with her now trademark rock hard condition looked right on the money. Carol won her class with ease and was now up for the overall and her Pro Card. After watching the heavyweights there was no doubt in my mind Carol would be crowned overall World Champion. Carol again beat the heavyweight with ease and was crowned Overall World Ladies Amateur Champion and gave us another new British PRO. Well done Carol and big congratulations from all at the BNBF.

 

A big thanks to all the amateurs who all turned up in great shape and were a great advert for Britain and the BNBF.

 

PRO MEN

Davie Hannah lightweight 8th

Davie turn up for the worlds in the shape of his life, he was absolutely shredded. With paper thin skin, granite hard muscle and with more size and fullness than I have seen on Davie before he has certainly came along way since his last Worlds outing. I had Davie in the top 6 but he was ecstatic to make the top eight and get to perform his posing routine which was one of the best posing routines in the whole show. Davie said his great result will fuel his workouts even more for the coming year.

 

Kerry Napier Light-weight 7th

What a first year in competitive bodybuilding it’s been for Kerry, third ever show and it just happened to be the WNBF Pro Worlds. Kerry held his condition well from the Britan and managed to hold on to his impressive thickness. Kerry looked big in his class with some real dense muscle and with his improved presentation earned him a great 7th place. A very impressive debut from Kerry and as his presentation improves he will climb right up the pro ranks.

 

John Harris Light-weight 2nd

John had a great debut last year and this year he improved yet again. This was the best condition I have seen John in and his lighter bodyweight seemed to suit his physique. John’s presentation at the pre-judging was picture perfect hitting every pose with ease and squeezing every muscle tight. John had obviously worked very hard for this and it showed with some greatly improved body parts. Well done John the best I have ever seen you.

 

Rob Hope Lightweight 1st

Wow, Rob was on the money! Huge muscle bellies some massive body parts, great symmetry and now that Rob can get in top shape he is almost impossible to beat. Rob was dry, full and quite a few pounds heavier than at the universe, it might be the unlimited supply of Pro Peptide? From the minute Rob walked on stage there would be only one winner he was a stand out winner in his class and the best I have also seen Rob. At such a young age who knows how far Rob physique will take him. After winning his class he soon up for the overall. Ben Tennesson the heavyweight winner has a ton of muscle he was massive but when compared to Rob appeared far to soft and with a unanimous decision Rob Hope was named OVERALL PRO WORLD CHAMPION the second year in a row for a British athlete. Well done Rob from all at the BNBF it could not have happened to a nicer guy.

 

Wes Clark Heavyweight 4th

I did not see a lot of the heavies as I was helping the lightweight guys. Wes looked in good condition and seemed to have added more size to his arms. There were a lot of big dense physiques in this class and as Wes thickens up his physique he will surely place higher.

 

Out of The top eight lightweights at the Worlds this year half were British outstanding!

 

PRO WOMEN

Sharon Claire Lightweights 8th

Sharon was in similar condition to the Britain but struggled to get noticed on her Pro debut. Sharon always turns up in good condition and as Sharon puts on more size can climb the Pro ranks.

 

Vicky McCann Lightweights 3rd

Vicky had a very unfortunate last few days going into the show and was in bed with a very severe stomach bug and struggled to carb load in any way. Vicky was not at her best on stage but was very big in her class, her and Nancy Andrews where 12 llb heavier than there nearest rivals. With Vicky’s added size and improved width it was enough to secure third place. Vicky has fully recovered and is looking forward to being at her best next time.

 

Rachael Hayes Heavyweight 6th

Rachael for the second year turned up in great condition and quite a few pounds heavier. The heavyweight class was full of mass with some very big girls. Rachael never stopped working and finished a very credible 6th. Rachael’s evening routine was one of the best in the show, well done.
